Classes We Offer
Level placement is based on past experience and possible placement audition.
LEVEL 1 TEAM
Pre-K3 to Kindergarten. This division offers an introduction to the world of musical theatre and dance! Students will learn the fundamentals of ballet technique, discover new characters and emotions through acting games, and will understand proper vocal techniques- how to match pitch, stand tall, and speak with confidence!
LEVEL 2 TEAM
Kindergarten to Grade 2. The Level 2 division is made up of students in K- 2nd grade who have a great interest in Musical Theatre performance. Building off of the Level 1 curriculum, students will learn proper ballet and jazz technique needed for choreography and repertoire. Students will dive deeper into the world of Musical Theatre as they participate in acting and vocal exercises that focus on the performer's growth.
LEVEL 3 TEAM
Grades 3-5. Level 3 is designed for 3rd-5th grade students who demonstrate a strong passion for Musical Theatre and are ready for more focused training. Building on the foundation of Level 2, students will continue developing ballet and jazz technique with an emphasis on control, alignment, and performance quality. Through vocal and acting exercises, young performers will explore character development and storytelling. This level encourages confidence and creativity while preparing students for more performance opportunities.
LEVEL 4 TEAM
Grades 6-8. The Level 4 division is made up of students in grades 6th-8th who have developed a serious passion for musical theatre. Students will begin training in Ballet and Jazz on a preprofessional level to further develop the necessary skills and techniques needed for choreography. Students will also hone their craft, through weekly vocal classes and acting exercises that build off of the Level 3 curriculum. This level meets three days a week.
COLLECTIVE SOLES YOUTH ENSEMBLE
This performance ensemble is AUDITION ONLY.
Our Collective Soles Youth Ensemble is made up of students in grades 7-12 who have hopes of pursuing performing arts in college and professionally. This ensemble meets 4 times a week, training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern, Contemporary, Acting, and Voice. Students will perform in 3 main stage productions each year!
