About Jansen Dance Project

Jansen Dance Project is a preprofessional training facility in the Tampa Bay Area, that prepares students for college and beyond. The faculty at JDP is dedicated to providing a nurturing experience in the art of Musical Theatre that will assist in the physical, intellectual and spiritual development of students at all levels. Our instructors are among the best in Tampa having performed with professional companies, theaters and universities around the world.

We offer the highest level of training in Musical Theatre.

Classes are divided into 4 levels based on age and training experience. New students will be asked to take a placement class at the start of the semester to correctly place them in a level:

- Level 1 Primary Musical Theatre 1

- Level 2 Primary Musical Theatre 2

- Level 3 Intermediate Musical Theatre

- Level 4 Advanced Musical Theatre

- Creative Movement (Ages 2.5-4)

All musical theatre students are required to take ballet and jazz as apart of their training program. New students will be asked to take a placement class at the start of the semester to correctly place them in a level.

These sections are vigorous and require great commitment from the students in order to prepare them for professional artistic careers.
