Summer Arts Camp

Ages 3-9 | July 6-31 & August 10-14, 2009 | 8:30am-5pm   

Enriching children through classes in dance, art, music and drama, JDP’s Summer Arts Day Camp offers much more than babysitting.

Sign your child up for either the full or half day camp on a per-week basis and see them light up with the joy of movement and the arts! Snacks will be provided.

4:00-5:00 Choreography/Music (alternates each day)
* - Dance lessons will alternate between Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Hip-Hop so that each style will be taught only once per day and so each student will experience each style of dance at least once throughout the week
 
Note
Camp participants will need to bring their own lunch if attending the full-day camp. Half-day participants will not have a designated lunchtime unless late pick-up (morning participants) or early drop-off (afternoon participants) applies. Snacks will be provided for all camp participants.
 
Camp Themes
Each week’s lessons will be based on a fun, kid-friendly theme. Examples of themes that will be chosen for a particular camp include Kid’s in the Kingdom (princes and princesses), Out of this World: Exploring Outer Space, High School Musical, Under the Big Top (circus), The Wonderful World of Nature and The Nutcracker. Camp themes will be assigned according the number and age of the children that sign up for a particular week.
 
Tuition
$240/first week (full day) / $130/first week (half day)*
*Each additional week and/or student in a family is 50% off the first week prices. (e.g. A family with one student attending as a half-day camp participants would pay $130 for the first week and $65 for each additional week; A family with two children attending as full-day camp participants would pay $240 for the first child and $120 for the second child, and $120 for each child for each additional week)
